Culinary Delights

I've had the past two days off of work, so I decided to put my culinary skills to the test and make dinner. So, I was adventuresome and made the two dishes I make best. Monday night I made chicken and rice. It was amazing! However, I have a mother and sister that got lost in all their shopping and decided to show up 1/2 hr late for supper! It was still good even though it had started to get a bit dried out. My mom so kindly told me that I could have put another glass of water in it while it was just hanging out in the oven waiting for THEM! gee...thanks mom.
Tonight I made lasagna. This was superb and everyone was home at the right time!
One of these next nights I am going to attempt something I have never made before. My cousin who is a great cook is coming this weekend so maybe we'll try something together! I'll let you know how it goes!
