This is coming into my room. The two lamps, picture over my bed and bedding are all new. I repainted my headboard and the garbage can. I've had the dresser for years. My mom found it at my grandma's and had Tewksbury Bible/Work Camp refinish it.
I got this lamp at Kirklands. I think it was $40 on sale...a little pricey but I love it.
This wall hanging also came from Kirkland's.
This will be the 'nook' I got the ladder bookcase for $90...originally $300. Kind of a steal...nbd :) I am hoping to find a small leather chair or sorts for that corner.
I got this hanging at Kirkland's as well. I saw it and knew I had to get it immediately. The colors match my room so well, and of course Psalms 23 is such a scripture for the bedroom too!
The nook again
This is the other little lamp I picked up at Kirklands for 12.99...It definitely works with the other table lamp
This is just a closeup of my bedding. I bought the tall lamp at Target, but am looking for a larger ball on top to match the table lamp. My mom found that afghan at Goodwill I believe...it looks brand new and is yellow, but matches perfectly when it gets put into my room.
I am so happy this project is essentially finished. I just need to find some new frames and the perfect pictures to put in said frames. We took out my desk on one side of my closet so I have so much more storage as well for my clothes. I think this will help me with my organization issues. So far, it has helped keep my clothes under control for the most part. It is so much fun to be in a room that is 'finished' Now I may never leave my parent's house ;)
You did a great job of pulling together a beautiful room from different stores. Anybody can buy the "showcase" room that is already put together, it takes a personal touch to create your own living space that suits you and your needs. Great job!
ReplyDeleteThanks! It definitely stretched my 'artistic' abilities that is for sure. After reading this, I realized my room is so perfect for me! It is true!
